TORONTO - Rob Ford impersonators, this is your time to shine.
An open casting call for the upcoming "Rob Ford The Musical: The Birth of a Ford Nation" will be held at Toronto's Second City Training Center next Monday.
Producers say it's a "colour blind casting" and that a resemblance to the embattled Toronto mayor isn't required.
Hopefuls must perform a one-minute comedy monologue and one pop, rock or comedy song. A headshot and resume are also required.
The stage show by Toronto-based Brett McCaig is described as "an unabashed, take-no-prisoners comedy" about Ford's personal and political journey.
It's set to open at Toronto's Historic Factory Theatre on Sept. 16.
