PENTICTON - An Oliver firefighter is calling a Sunday morning tree blaze suspicious.
Two pumper trucks headed out to a mobile home park across from Oliver Car and Truck Sales near the corner of Okanagan Highway and Road 1 at 2:24 a.m. The crews found a tree burning beside one of the mobile homes when they arrived. Oliver fire department spokesperson Rob Graham said there might have been smoke damage to the home.
No injuries were reported.
The fire's cause is unknown. Graham said the RCMP was notified.
The Oliver RCMP were not available for comment when this story was posted.
