OLIVER – The RCMP in Oliver are asking for the public’s help to find those responsible for stealing $13,500 worth of equipment.

Police say thieves raided the job site in the 4300-block of Black Sage Road overnight between Wednesday, Dec. 17 and Thursday, Dec. 18.

The crooks got away with 600 litres of diesel fuel, a light plant portable generator (model MLT5080) and a Frost Fighter heater (model OHV350LL). Both pieces of equipment are marked with the word GREYBACK in black or red paint.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the stolen property or the theft can call the Oliver RCMP detachment at 250-498-3422. Remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
