PENTICTON - It’s time to get out the lederhosen in Penticton.

Oktoberfest returns to the city for the seventh time this weekend.

On Saturday, Oct. 22 the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre becomes Munich’s Hofbrauhaus with a great night of food, entertainment and, of course, beverages with authentic German brews and local wines.

Entertainers include The Beerbarrels, a three piece Oompa-pa dance band and The Alpen Platters, a German Bavarian Schuhplattler dance group.

Doors are scheduled to open at 6 p.m., with the party ending at 12:30 a.m.

Tickets are available at the Valley First Box Office at the SOEC and online at www.ValleyFirstTix.com

Each ticket includes a beer.

For more information, see the Penticton Oktoberfest website.
