MOOSE JAW, Sask. – It’s been quit the ride for the Okanagan Rockets this week at the National Midget Hockey Championships in Moose Jaw, Sask.
The ride ended Sunday afternoon with a 3-2 overtime win against the Toronto Young Nationals.
The Rockets erased a 2-0 third period deficit for the comeback win.
Linden Hora’s second goal of the game in OT was the winner.
The Rockets, who are based out of Kelowna, lost 6-3 to the Prince Albert Mintos in the semifinals on Saturday.
The Prince Albert Mintos will take on The Chateauguay Grenadiers for the gold medal in the 2014 Telus Cup, which will be televised live on TSN at 2 p.m.
