VERNON - When Vernon residents went for breakfast at A&W a couple weeks ago, they never thought they’d be the focus of a new company commercial.

Many locals visited the 30 Street A&W on Saturday, Jan. 23 after the restaurant put out a notice it was giving away free bacon and eggers.

When people got there, they found free bacon and eggers alright, but they also discovered a film crew and famous A&W clerk played by actor Allen Lulu.

Customers got to sample the bacon and eggers — which featured a new product — and their reactions were caught on camera.
