Nearly $10,000 worth of jewelry stolen from Kelowna store

KELOWNA - A local department store is missing nearly $10,000 worth of jewelry after three men lifted several items from a display case earlier this month.

Store security for Hudson's Bay called RCMP on May 18 after they found three jewelry items worth nearly $10,000 had been taken from a display case in the jewelry department, according to a Crime Stoppers release.

Video surveillance shows three suspects swiping the items around 5 p.m. The stolen items include an Effy rose gold panther pendant, Effy rose gold panther stud earrings and an Effy rose gold smoky topaz pendant.

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300 or remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, leaving a tip online at www.crimestoppers.net or texting your tip to CRIMES (274637) ktown.
