Naramata Centre wants to hear your programming ideas

When Naramata Centre opened for the 2016 summer, we witnessed the delight expressed by people returning to this inclusive place of welcoming community, spiritual nurture and renewal. We look forward to building on their excitement in 2017!

Our 2017 programming seasons reflect our commitment to fresh vision and ongoing growth. This year we are seeking programs that relate to spiritual nurture, health and well-being, and music and the arts.

We are calling for program proposals to build on what we successfully put in place this year:

For our Spring and Autumn program seasons (May 23- June 30 and August 26- Oct 7), we are seeking workshops that focus on young adult, adult and elder programming.

For our Summer program season (July 1- August 25), we are seeking programs designed for children, adolescents, young adults, adults and families. This season will include some intergenerational programming and will invite participants to connect, play and grow within community of all ages.

Have you got a program that you are excited to offer at Naramata Centre?

If you have an idea for a program, please email us and we will send you a program proposal package that includes details regarding program structure, program content, marketing expectations, and how to determine your participant fees. Expect to receive your package after the Board of Directors meets at the end of November.

With experience gained last year, we are calling for proposals much earlier and will notify our extended community as soon as the program calendar is built.

We anticipate higher enrolment as we reach people before they have planned their summers. Participants will appreciate the 2017 streamlined approach of registering program and accommodation options at the same time. We will continue the very successful Community Host model to assist in planning community activities each week and to support Program Leaders.

We hope to see you at the Naramata Centre in 2017 - as a leader and/or a participant!
