Mounties on lookout for Kelowna dump truck thief

KELOWNA - A dump truck was stolen from a Kelowna business earlyier this week and RCMP are now on the lookout for the dump truck and a pickup truck they believe is associated to the suspect.

A white 2012 International dump truck with a black dump box was stolen from Laing Roofing in the 3300-block of Appaloosa Road early Monday morning, May 16. It is believed the truck, B.C. licence plate HM4398, was stolen around 4:30 a.m., RCMP say in a release.

Police also believe the suspect is associated with a newer black Dodge pickup truck.

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300 or remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, leaving a tip online at www.crimestoppers.net or texting your tip to CRIMES (274637) ktown.
