Mounties hunt for man wanted for drug trafficking

KELOWNA - Mounties rounded up 15 people following a drug trafficking investigation conducted mid-September, but one of the alleged traffickers is now at large and police are seeking public help to locate him.

Jesse Richard Lencucha, 30, is wanted by the RCMP, while the other 14 have since been arrested, according to a media release.

The investigation took place over several days, targeting street level drug trafficking in the city of Kelowna. Police seized 2.86 grams of crack cocaine, 3.73 grams of marijuana and 2.56 grams of crystal meth. All those arrested were charged with 22 counts of drug trafficking. There was also a count of trafficking in stolen peoperty.
