Motorcycle accident results in death of Penticton man

Penticton RCMP report the death of a man following a motorcycle accident near Okanagan Falls yesterday afternoon, June 28, 2017.

PENTICTON - The BC Coroners Office has taken over investigation of a motorcycle accident after the driver died yesterday.

Penticton RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth said yesterday, June 28 at around 1 p.m.,  police were called to the scene of a motorcycle accident on Allendale Lake Road in Okanagan Falls.

A 56 year old Penticton man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have ruled out speed and alcohol as factors in the incident.
