UPDATE: Power restored in Aberdeen neighbourhood

KAMLOOPS – B.C. Hydro workers have restored power across a large area in Aberdeen.

According to B.C. Hydro, 1,651 customers west of Tremerton Drive and south of Hillside Way were affected by the outage.

The power went out at 12:06 p.m. today, June 20 and was restored shortly before 2 p.m.

The cause of the outage was determined to be a cable fault.
