Many Hats Theatre Company set to begin new season

PENTICTON - Many Hats Theatre Company starts its ninth season in Penticton with a new show at the Cannery Stage next week.

Baggage, a Sam Bobrick comedy about losing luggage and finding love, will run from Feb. 4 to Feb. 27 with performances Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 8 p.m. There’s a Sunday matinee performance also, which starts at 2 p.m.

Sam Bobrick wrote Many Hats 2015 season opening play “Getting Sara Married” as well as several television scripts.

Two newcomers join the cast this season as Jane Stead and John Devitt join the troupe. Stead has years of acting experience with the Terrace Little Theatre and Devitt has received critical acclaim for his work with the Revelstoke Players.

Ticket prices are unchanged from last season at $22 for adults and $19 for students. Tickets can be purchased at the Wine Country Visitor’s Centre or by phone at 250-276-2170, or 1-800-663-5052.
