WEST KELOWNA - The body of a man pulled from Okanagan Lake in West Kelowna yesterday has been identified.

Investigators have positively identified the deceased as a 49-year-old Kelowna man, according to an RCMP media release.

The man's body was found floating in Okanagan Lake in the Casa Loma area of Lakeview Heights in West Kelowna just before 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 26.

“The investigation into the man’s death has now been turned over to the B.C. Coroners Service, as his death has been deemed not suspicious in nature,” Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey says in the release.
