UPDATE: 10:35 a.m., AUG. 22, 2016 - RCMP says the 52-year-old has been found safe and sound. All personal information has been removed.
AUG. 18 — KAMLOOPS - Police are looking for assistance in the search for a missing Kamloops man.
He left the Royal Inland Hospital on Aug. 15 on his own accord and he's been missing ever since, according to a Kamloops RCMP press release.
His family, who haven’t had contact with him, are concerned for his safety. The man had a medical condition which requires medication.
RCMP say he may be trying to get to Vancouver Island. He’s gone missing before, but not for long periods of time.
