The driver of a tractor trailer truck is dead following his vehicle leaving the surface of Highway 3 earlier this morning,east of Princeton.

PRINCETON - A fatal accident closed Highway 3 east of Princeton for hours on Friday.
The driver, 50, died at the scene after his rig left the road in Bromley Rock Provincial Park at about 5:41 a.m.
Road and weather conditions were poor at the time of the crash with dense fog and ice covered roads.
The man was from the Lower Mainland as was the trucking firm operating the transport truck.
The B.C. Coroners Service is investigating along with the RCMP.
The man's name hasn't been released as investigators work to inform his family.
