Looking for a forever home; Vernon SPCA pets of the week

Diesel

Diesel is a large male rottweiler cross who is looking for a home that has experience with the breed.

He can be wary of strangers especially men, but once he is comfortable around people he is just a giant snuggle bug. He loves to lean on you and have his belly rubbed, and play with his toys.

Diesel knows his basic commands such as sit and lay down, he walks nicely on a leash but can pull quite hard if he wants to see something.

He hasn't had much exposure to people or other dogs, and will need socialization and training. He will jump up which can be quite intimidating to anyone who isn't comfortable around large dogs.

Diesel is looking for a home without children as he is fearful of sudden movement and loud noises, and can be quite overpowering when he jumps up.

If you think you have the right environment for this big boy to call his own, please contact the Vernon SPCA to speak with a staff member.

Bean was picked up at a local coffee shop after hanging around all day making new friends.

She is very chatty and loves to be wherever you are. Bean has made a few feline friends in the shelter so she may do well in a home with other cats.

If you are looking for a loving, chatty companion Bean is the girl for you.

Please contact the Vernon SPCA to speak with a staff member.
