Looking for a forever home; Vernon SPCA pet of the week

Dakota is a sweet but shy girl who was surrendered to the Vernon SPCA because she did not get along with the family's other dog.

She would be best-suited to being the only dog in her new home, as she does get snippy with other dogs that are too exuberant or in her space.

Dakota is a little on the heavy side, so a gentle diet and weight loss plan will need to be continued by her new guardians.

She walks very nicely on a leash and has a very calm demeanor.

A house without too many visitors would be ideal for her.
