Bella is a five-year-old bichon and poodle mix with an adorable personality, and a few special needs.
Bella is diabetic and requires insulin injections twice daily. She is on a special diet to accommodate this and her new guardians will need to be willing to continue to provide regular veterinary care to monitor her condition.
Bella loves to be around people and is a super affectionate, loving girl. She is good with most other dogs. She loves to go for walks and spend time curled up on the couch.
Bella is very intelligent and has amazing recall. She does have some separation anxiety and will bark and whine when left on her own, so a home where she can be introduced to this slowly, or possibly have a canine companion to keep her company would be great. Ideally a home with outdoor access such a a doggy door, to a secure outdoor space would best suit Bella, as her condition makes it hard for her to hold her bladder for long periods of time.
