PENTICTON -  The South Okanagan/Similkameen Shelter would like everyone to meet Aero.

Aero is a five-year-old German Shepherd who arrived at the SPCA from Dog Control, according to the South Okanagan/Similkameen SPCA pet profile.

Because he came to the shelter as a stray the SPCA has no background information on him. During his time at the shelter, staff believes he will need an experienced dog person because he is very is energetic and excitable.

His excitability has lead the SPCA to believe he may be best suited for an adult-only home or a family with older children. They arrived at this conclusion because of how excited Aero gets when playing with toys, which he loves.

During his time at the shelter, Aero has come across as a confident when meeting other dogs. The SPCA recommends supervised introductions in the beginning because he is still learning proper manners while socializing.

The downside, Aero seems loves rocks. Crewing on them would damage his teeth so his new guardian would need to work on that.

Other than how delicious rocks seem to be, Aero is an affectionate dog who is eager to please and would make a great addition to an active family.

Not only is he willing to please you, he is eager to learn socialization between dogs and that rocks maybe are not the best toy.

Overall, the SPCA thinks Aero will be a great addition to someone's family.

If you think you'd like to add Aero to your home or if you are interested in meeting him, please contact or stop by the South Okanagan Similkameen Shelter. You can submit an adoption application by email to penticton@spca.bc.ca or in person to 2200 Dartmouth Drive. Aero's animal ID is 443384. For more information, you can visit the website.
