PENTICTON -  He might only have one good eye and a few lumps and bumps but this sweet old man is a lover and wants to show off his new set of pearly whites to his forever family.

Walt is an 8-year-old stray that was brought to the SPCA by a good samaritan, according to the South Okanagan/Similkameen Shelter pet profile.

Poor Walt came to the shelter with lumps and bumps, a bad eye, wounds from cat fights, and bad teeth.

His eye injury is old and it impairs his vision a bit but is not causing him any pain, however, he might get glaucoma in the future that would need medical attention. The SPCA says that they do not know how he is with other cats but he came in with a lot of wounds from cat fights while living on the streets. He received dental at the shelter and he a new set of "pearly whites." His new forever family can enjoy how much they sparkle.

He is a sweet old man that loves cuddles and the shelter hopes that Walt can have a nice indoor home where he can relax and be spoiled after spending the many years fending for himself.

If you are looking to add a sweet soul to the family, please contact or stop by the South Okanagan Similkameen Shelter. You can submit an adoption application by email to penticton@spca.bc.ca or in person to 2200 Dartmouth Drive. Walt's animal ID is 443115. For more information, visit the website.
