PENTICTON - Duke is a four-year-old German Shepherd who arrived at the Penticton SPCA on July 23, 2016.

Duke arrived as a stray, so the SPCA doesn't know much about his past.

They later learned that he has hip dysplasia in one leg and severe arthritis in his elbows. Duke has to be on pain medication for the rest of his life.

Despite these issues, Duke is very happy, friendly and sweet. Although, he cannot live with a cat, as he likes to chase them.

He doesn't pull on a leash and is content just relaxing and hanging out.

Duke's Animal ID is 407127.

Visit the South Okanagan Branch webpage for more information such as location, adoption fees, and hours of operation.
