KAMLOOPS -  Quasar, animal ID 441162, is ready to hop into your life.

Quasar came to the Kamloops & district BC SPCA with her sister, Procyon when their owner could no longer care for them, according to the SPCA pet profile.

Quasar and Procyon love each other and would like to have a forever home together. To see more information on Procyon you can go to the Kamloops SPCA adoptions page and search by her animal ID, 441164. Family is important to these rabbits and they are looking for a new member.

Out of the two rabbits, Quasar is the most outgoing. Both rabbits are three months old and are easier to socialize because they are not full grown.

Treats are a good way to gain trust with this little girl. By allowing her to sniff and inspect you, you will gain her trust and then she will be easy to pick up and be held.

The SPCA says rabbits are a great first pet but they are also a big responsibility.

A balanced diet is important to make sure bunnies get all the nutrients they need. The SPCA recommends daily veggies, hay and pellets.

Hopping space is important because Quasar needs her exercise. Rabbits love to dig in shredded paper, fluff and shavings. Chewing on toys is also important.

If Quasar has piqued your interest and you are looking to add this one of a kind to the family, come down and visit the shelter, call them at 250-376-7722, email the SPCA at kamloops@spca.bc.ca or visit the website for more information.
