KAMLOOPS - Fleetwood, animal id number 441264, might be a year and a half but she is still looking for her second chance at a family.
She is a brown and white hamster that came to the Kamloops shelter on Aug. 23, according to the Kamloops SPCA pet profile.
Fleetwood can be handled as long as it is done properly and gently. Happily, she will take treats and stuff her cheeks.
She enjoys long runs in her exercise ball and exploring her environment. An enriching set up is important for her cage.
Hamsters require special diet and care so it is important to do your research before bringing one home, according to SPCA staff.
Also, hamsters are nocturnal creatures. They love the nightlife.
