KAMLOOPS - Captain Holly is a male New Zealand rabbit who has spent quite a long time at the SPCA. Captain Holly arrived on March 15, 2016.

Captain Holly is one year and four months old. This handsome critter didn't have a biography or description attached. If you are interested in giving this young bunny a place to call home, the SPCA can offer more personality details.

Captain Holly's Animal ID number is 398253.

The following is some basic information about adopting bunnies and keeping them as family pets from the SPCA website:

"Rabbits are intelligent social animals who require caring, attentive and affectionate keepers. Their average life span, depending on size and breed, is generally between seven to 12 years. They are exceptionally clean animals that can easily be house trained and nurtured to become affectionate companions.

The B.C. SPCA recommends that like all pets, rabbits should be kept indoors where they can be cared for, played with, and become part of the family. The exact amount of space your rabbit will need depends on the size and breed of your rabbit — the more space the better.

Rabbits are generally healthy creatures as long as their habitat is kept clean and their food and water fresh."

Visit the Kamloops and District Branch webpage for more information such as location, adoption fees, and hours of operation.
