Throw cold water on the steamy Valentine's Day Erotic Art Event scheduled for Feb. 14 at the Penticton Art Gallery—it's cancelled due to low ticket sales.
Billed as a stylish romantic opportunity to woo a loved one, the cost of entry was $100 per couple. Attendees were to receive an erotic art piece, erotic chocolates, hors d'oeuvres and an opportunity to win door prizes. A free glass of wine was also part of the menu as well as mood music and a live life drawing.
People who had bought tickets have already been contacted.
The gallery's next event is on March 22 and will run from 7 to 9 p.m. It will feature new artwork and will be free of charge.
