Kelowna mayor takes to Twitter for town hall meeting

KELOWNA - Mayor Colin Basran will be throwing out questions on Twitter this afternoon, hoping to tap into a new vein of ideas about the future of Kelowna.

The mayor hopes the discussion will revolve around the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead and how to best position Kelowna to thrive, according to a public service announcement from the city.

Basran will be taking over the City of Kelowna Twitter channel for an hour at 1 p.m. Connect wtih @cityofkelowna or follow #ImagineKelowna.

If you can’t get to the live chat, you can still give your thoughts at imagine.kelowna.ca as the city moves through a strategic visioning process.
