KAMLOOPS - Fans of wine will get a chance to support the arts by attending the events planned during the upcoming Kamloops Wine Festival.
The 18th annual Kamloops Wine Festival is on from May 4 to 14, with funds raised going to the Kamloops Art Gallery.
There will be over 175 wines to sample over the 11 days, with options coming from local wineries and around the world, according to a media release.
Local wineries will be hosting wine tastings while liquor stores and restaurants are participating with tastings and or special meal options.
The festival culminates in the Consumer Tasting event at the Coast Hotel ballroom with more than 150 wines, ciders and food. There will also be entertainment and draws.
