KAMLOOPS - Barry Stevens has owned his Bobcat 751 for 16 years, now he's asking for the public's help in finding the person who stole it.

Stevens says he noticed the vehicle was missing from its parking spot on Salish Road, behind the Tim Hortons, Thursday evening, Nov. 17.

He reported it to Kamloops RCMP. Detachment spokesperson Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says police are investigating.

The theft happened at an inconvenient time for Stevens, who uses the vehicle to move snow across a five-acre plot of land.

Stevens says he's only let the vehicle sit unattended outside for two nights since he purchased it in 2000.

"That thing has sat all over in subdivisions in Kamloops and up north and never been touched," he says.

He says the vehicle is unique and covered with decals from his construction company. The words "B.R.S. Const. Ltd." can be seen in the picture Stevens' wife is circulating on social media.

If you see the vehicle or have any knowledge of the theft, you're asked to call Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000.
