KAMLOOPS - At Kamloops Burlesque we're starting our new year off with a show like no other.
Jan. 14, 2016 we will be hosting our very first burlesque improv show! Each performer will spin the roulette Wheel of Music to select a song, select a prop through random draw and create a never before seen or performed number.
To make things even more interesting, the Wheel of Music is loaded with a selection of the best songs, the worst songs, and the bands choice - giving our in house musicians, The Sassy Gents, total power over what live music our performer will be getting down and dirty to.
Come check out some of Kamloops Burlesque's best performers in their most terrifying endeavor yet - Kara-Sheen Inferno, The Big Butowski, Dahlia Divine, Crimson Clover, Cherry Pan Tease, and Miss Coco Creme. For an added extra bonus, watch all new acts by Vain Calamity Jane and the trio of Lizzie Borden, Miss Andry, and Richard Striper.
Our Roulette show is our first show of our sixth year of hosting monthly shows at The Blue Grotto. Will Kara-Sheen be dancing to the Macarena with a blow up doll? Will Coco be performing to Hot-Line Bling with a grapefruit? There is only one way to find out.
As always, our show is 19+. VIP tickets are available at Instinct Adornment, 319 Victoria St., for $10 (cash only) or purchase online at KamTix.ca. VIP Tickets give you exclusive floor seating and a chance to win more draw prizes. Must arrive by 9pm to take advantage of this special seating. Door entry is $5.
Doors open at 8 p.m., show starts at 9:30 p.m. Dress up to win special prizes in our Best Dressed Contest.
