Kamloops Blazers hockey school is coming

Kamloops, BC – The Kamloops Blazers Hockey School is set to go from August 12-16 at the McArthur Island Sports Centre. Head Coach Dave Hunchak and Associate Coach Mark Ferner will lead the on-ice skills instruction, while Nina Hrycewich will once again lead the power skating sessions.

Kamloops Blazers Goaltender Coach Dan De Palma and former Head Coach and now the Advisor to Hockey Operations, Guy Charron will also be on the ice throughout the week. Alumni including Chris Murray and Ryan Hanes will also be making on-ice appearances.

Current players that will be attending group leaders for hockey school include Taran Kozun, Ryan Rehill, Aaron Macklin, Mitch Friesen, Chase Souto, Nick Chyzowski, Connor Clouston and Devin Oakes.

Kamloops Blazers Hockey School will consist of four different age groups ranging from Initiation to Bantam and ages 5-13. Each group will have two ice sessions per day along with an off-ice training and classroom session.

There are a couple of spots left in both the Pee Wee and Bantam aged groups. If interested, please contact Ashley at 250-828-1144.
