Scout is a very happy guy with a lot of personality. He is extremely playful and loves to play fetch with toys. Scout is very friendly and affectionate however he may become protective of his adopters and therefore may respond strongly to visitors at the door by barking. Scout gets easily over excited. He'll need a lot outings with his guardian/s and light exercise as he does have arthritic hips. He may become bored if left inactive.Scout may become anxious when left alone. He'll need to get used to spending time alone slowly a few minutes at a time. This dog may be nervous around other dogs. He should be introduced slowly to dogs and rewarded for relaxed behaviour and play.
A behaviour counselling session with our Adoption Staff is necessary before adopting any animal.

Addison is a fairly independent cat. She enjoys attention however its usually on her own terms. When she does want it she will let you know by vocalization. Addison loves to play and is curious about everything. She is very soft and affectionate. This cat enjoys being petted but not for too long at one time. She will certainly let you know when a petting session should be over. This cat is friendly but does not like to be picked up.
Addison needs a home with no cats but appears to be OK around dogs. She would be better suited to a home with older children (12yrs +)or none at all. A behaviour counselling session with our Adoption Staff is necessary before adopting any animal to help ensure success in the new home.
