KELOWNA – Police are investigating after a two-month-old baby was found dead at a home in McKinley Landing Wednesday morning.
Paramedics were called to the house on Dobbin Road with a report that a baby had stopped breathing and had no pulse.
According to Const. Kris Clark, the infant was taken to Kelowna General Hospital but could not be resuscitated. He says the mother of the child phoned 9-1-1.
An autopsy will likely be performed and until cause can be determined the death will be treated as suspicious by the RCMP.
