IN PICTURES: The school Christmas concert

Proud parents and grandparents come armed with cameras and smartphones ready to capture the cuteness on stage.

KAMLOOPS - Many of us have taken part in them. When it comes to the annual school Christmas concert some of us remember the terror of getting on stage while others have fond memories of their acting or singing skills back in the day.

Children today are likely facing the same feelings. Plus, there are all the little things that go into the play, from lighting and music to props and perfectly timed coordination of classes. As audience members of the greatest show of the year, we may not notice all those little things going on though, after all we're there to watch our little stars shine and to lose ourselves, even if just for a moment, in the pleasure of the holiday season.

This year we decided to take a look behind the scenes on the day of the concert and see what goes into putting on an unforgettable show at Pacific Way Elementary.
