How to help West Kelowna become a community in bloom

WEST KELOWNA - The Partners in Bloom, West Kelowna and Westbank First Nation, have already begun planning for this year’s Communities in Bloom National competition entry and are hosting a community meeting to seek support and volunteers from residents, organizations and businesses.

“We are really excited about this year’s competition because we have so many great projects and initiatives happening in both West Kelowna and Westbank First Nation,” says Annette Beaudreau, Chairperson of the Partners In Bloom committee. “We know the key to our success in the competition is community involvement and we are calling for interested parties to join in a discussion about what we are doing and how they can help.”

West Kelowna and Westbank First Nation invite any resident, organization or business interested in participating, volunteering or contributing to the Partners in Bloom efforts to attend a community meeting to hear what projects are in need of support. This is also an opportunity for organizations to make connections and seek support for initiatives that they are undertaking.
