Homeless man traumatized after being burned in Terrace, B.C., mugging

TERRACE, B.C. - RCMP in Terrace, B.C., are searching for three men, suspected of robbing and burning a homeless man in that northwestern B.C. city.

The men, all described as in their 20's, allegedly attacked the 48-year-old homeless man as he was making his way toward a shelter at around 11 p.m. last Thursday night.

They reportedly knocked the intoxicated man to the ground, stole a bottle of liquor and some cash and then burned his face and hands.

According to police, the man was assaulted because he was looking at his attackers.

The victim's injuries are described as minor but police say he is severely traumatized.

Investigators are now looking for two stocky suspects, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, and one man described as a lanky 6 feet 1 inch suspect, with red hair. (CFTK)
