TAMPA, Fla. - Rene Bourque scored twice as the Montreal Canadiens downed the Tampa Bay Lightning 4-1 to take a two-game lead in their best-of-seven first-round playoff series.

Teddy Purcell scored a power-play goal for Tampa Bay, spoiling Carey Price's shutout bid at 18:01 of the third period.

Price made 26 saves, while Lightning goaltender Anders Lindback stopped 20 shots. Kristers Gudlevskis, the Latvian goalie who made 55 saves to put a scare into Team Canada in Sochi, replaced him and allowed a goal on three shots.

Desharnais opened the scoring for Montreal at 2:34 of the second period on the power play, and Bourque added his first of the game eight minutes later.

Gallagher gave the Canadiens a 3-0 advantage with his goal halfway through the third. Bourque scored his second of the night on a wraparound at 14:39.
