Go Fish program set to begin

For the 7th consecutive year, the Regional District of Central Okanagan, Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC and Ministry of Environment along with many local partners are preparing for the ‘Go Fish’ program providing children 15 years of age and under the opportunity to experience the sport of fishing and to foster an appreciation of the natural environment in our regional parks.

Rainbow trout will be stocked in advance of the grand openings for the program this Saturday, May 4th at the Hall Road pond in Mission Creek Regional Park and Sunday, May 5th at Shannon Lake Regional Park.
