KAMLOOPS - We will be trading the cold and sunshine, for clouds and mild temperatures this weekend in Kamloops.

Kamloops will spend the next seven days bobbing between -3 Celsius and 6 C as clouds fill the sky and the odd flurry or shower sprinkles the region, according to Environment Canada.

Today, Jan. 19, we can expect to get to a high of 6 C with a 30 per cent of showers starting around lunchtime, a breeze coming through around 20 kilometres per hour and clouds throughout the day. The clouds will stay with us into the night, as the temperature drops to 2 C with a 30 per cent chance of wet flurries or showers.

Tomorrow the forecast calls for clouds with a little sun, a 30 per cent chance of showers or wet flurries and a high of 6 C. In the evening it’ll drop down to -2 C with clouds.

Saturday will be cloudy with a high around 2 C during the day and -2 C at night. Sunday will also be similar, with a high of 3 C and a low of -1 C overnight.

Normal temperatures for this time of year are highs of -1 C and lows of -7 C.
