Foul play ruled out in death of a Kelowna man

The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died of head injuries on Nov. 6, 2012.

The man is Kent Alexander Ford, aged 60, a resident of Kelowna.

Mr. Ford was found on Nov. 3, 2012, lying unresponsive outside his vehicle, which was parked outside the home of a friend of Mr. Ford in Lake Country. He was taken to Kelowna General Hospital where he was found to be suffering from a significant head injury.

Despite aggressive medical care, Mr. Ford died in the early morning hours of Nov. 6.

The Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death. Foul play has now been ruled out.

The family of Mr. Ford has been notified of his death.
