Foreigner to play Penticton's South Okanagan Events Centre

PENTICTON - Foreigner is bringing 40 years of iconic rock music to Penticton this fall.

The band will appear at the South Okanagan Events Centre Saturday, Oct. 21 as part of a 10 city Canadian 40th Anniversary Tour.

Along with the tour comes the release of a companion album consisting of 40 hits from the group’s 40 years. The double CD set will include hits such as I Want to Know What Love is, Cold as Ice, Hot Blooded, Feels Like the First Time, Urgent, and more.

Another part of the band’s 40 year anniversary includes the premiere of the new Foreigner musical, Juke Box Hero.

Written by Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais, the musical premieres in Alberta.

Foreigner has garnered 10 multi-platinum albums, 16 top 30 hits and has sold more than 75 million albums in their four decade existence.

Tickets for Foreigner go on sale Friday, June 2 at 10 a.m. and are available in person at the Valley First Box Office, by phone at 1-877-763-2849, or online at ValleyFirstTix.com.

Ticket prices are $45, $65, $75 and $89.50.

A VIP Experience pass is $199 and includes a ticket on the floor in the first six rows, a Foreigner tote bag, autographed limited edition CD, photo with the band, VIP limited edition laminate and a $10 coupon for merchandise purchased at the show.
