KELOWNA - Firefighters battled a structure fire at Style-Line Manufacturing Ltd. on Pinto Drive, just north of Sexsmith Wednesday afternoon.
The fire was called in at about 1:30 p.m. July 9, 2014 and appeared to be coming from an industrial hopper. Owner of Style-Line, Brian Church, says the building itself was not affected by the fire, adding they've never had a fire before and this type of event is rare.
Church also says the fire is out, though there is still quite a bit of smoke. He sent employees home for the day and says he will reassess in the morning.
Though firefighters quickly had the small blaze under control, they're investigating a second hopper and will remain on scene. Many attended with at least four were on the roof of the building.
Gas and power were turned off.
