WEST KELOWNA - Please help firefighters fill the shelves of the Westside Community Food Bank in time for the holidays.

The West Kelowna Fire Rescue Holiday Food Drive is an annual tradition in the community and firefighters thank the community for their tremendous show of support each and every year. In just two days, firefighters are able to collect thousands of non-perishable items to help the food bank fill holiday hampers and stock the shelves through winter.

Firefighters will be volunteering their time to go door to door in several City of West Kelowna and Westbank First Nation neighbourhoods:

- Tuesday, Dec. 1, 6 to 9 p.m.
- Wednesday, Dec. 2, 6 to 9 p.m.

If you miss firefighters at your door, feel free at any time to drop off Westside Community Food Bank donations at Fire Station 31, 3651 Old Okanagan Hwy., or Fire Station 32, 2708 Olalla Rd.
