KELOWNA - Fire crews responded to a small fire at Ok Builders Supplies Ltd. on McCurdy Road today.

Sparks from a welding instrument ignited the flame around 1:30 p.m., said Matthew Bumstead, spokesperson for the concrete mixing plant.

"One of the workers noticed some smoke coming from the building and when he went to check, sure enough it was on fire,' he said.

Damage is limited to the exterior siding of the building. Repairs will include replacing some side panels and installation.
