REGINA - The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed veteran offensive lineman Brendon LaBatte to a contract extension through the 2017 season Monday.
The six-foot-four, 304-pound LaBatte is in his fifth season with Saskatchewan after starting his CFL career with Winnipeg. LaBatte, 30, of Weyburn, Sask., has appeared in 139 career regular-season games, 137 as a starter.
