KELOWNA - When Brianne McVean found out she won’s Spring Getaway Contest, she was already travelling.

McVean and her boyfriend were in Mexico on a three-week vacation when her name was drawn from a pool of people who signed up for our newsletter. Now she has $2,500 in travel vouchers for her next trip. She recently took up surfing and thinks she might find another destination with big waves.

“Me and my boyfriend went on a trip to Vancouver Island and started surfing down there and then went to Mexico and did a little more,” she says. “We might go somewhere like Costa Rica or Nicaragua.”

They like to travel and luckily have vacation time left and are thinking of going in October.

“Maybe Portugal?” she says. “Thanks to this, the possibilities are endless now.”
