KELOWNA - Elevation Outdoors is excited to announce their annual fundraiser “Reason for the Seasons” is taking place Friday, Oct. 23, 2015 at the Harvest Golf Club.

"This is our largest fundraiser of the year and is key in raising the necessary funds for our programs,” comments Tori Hanson, founder Elevation Outdoors. “We have been able to expand our program this year and now offer sailing, mountain biking and skiing/snowboarding, allowing us to offer something for our youth year round.”

Tickets to the event are $75 and include a three course dinner, glass of wine from Squeezed Wines, dancing with DJ Haymaker, live auction, silent auction and raffle. Tickets can be purchased by email through info@impactevents.ca  or by phone at 250-826-1148.

“The Elevation Outdoors Gala Fundraiser promises to be an evening of fabulous food and wine, attractive auction items and groovy entertainment,” adds Hanson. “With all proceeds going to support Elevation Outdoors youth programs.”

Elevation Outdoors mission is to enhance the lives of underprivileged youth by teaching them outdoor sports and pursuits, and drawing parallels to life through the experience; and to help youth develop passion for snowboarding, sailing and mountain biking, and develop life skills along the way. All programs are offered to eligible young people free of charge as we believe that no young person should be denied the potential to discover an outdoor pursuit that can keep them motivated, healthy, and stoked on life for the rest of their days.

Elevation Outdoors is entering it’s 9th year of operation and runs programs for local youth through spring, summer and winter and is always looking to provide more outdoor activities for disadvantaged Kelowna youth, with the help of the community, donors and incredible volunteers.
