WEST KELOWNA - Police are looking for witnesses to a pedestrian-involved collision Monday night in downtown Westbank.

RCMP say a 38-year-old West Kelowna man was struck while crossing Dobbin Road at Brown Road at roughly 10:30 p.m. by a blue Dodge Durango. Police have interviewed the North Okanagan driver of the Durango, who stayed on scene and cooperated with the police investigation, but additional witnesses are also sought.

The pedestrian was sent to hospital with what Cpl. Jesse O'Donaghey says are serious but not life threatening injuries.

If you witnessed this incident and have not yet spoken to police you are asked to contact the West Kelowna RCMP at 250-768-2880.
