PENTICTON — A thief dug out an excavator from Pacific Rim Equipment's yard in mid-May and Crime Stoppers wants it found before its sold.

On the night of May 11-12 an unknown person stole a yellow and black Yanmar excavator, including its bucket, from Pacific Rim at 1698 Dartmouth Rd. It is valued at several thousand dollars. Anyone seeing a similar piece of equipment on any job sites or elsewhere is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or www.sostips.ca.

Should information lead to an arrest, the tipper might qualify for a cash reward up to $2,000. Crime Stoppers staff remind the public it is not a police program, does not use call display and only wants information.
