PENTICTON - Canadian country music star Brett Kissel will be stopping in Penticton during his 2018 We Were That Song tour.

Kissel is the reigning male artist of the year as named by the Canadian Country Music Association, an honour they also bestowed on him the year before.

His new single “We Were That Song” premiered at last month’s CCMA awards in Saskatoon, and is the first released from an upcoming album, according to a press release from the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre.

Kissel will be touring western Canada beginning in January 2018, stopping in Penticton March 18.

Tickets for Brett Kissel go on sale Friday, Oct. 6 at 10 a.m. at the Valley First box office in the convention centre or online at www.ValleyFirstTix.com.
